Had a 6:30 reservation, they politely asked us to leave at 8:15 so they could turn the table. Food was way below average for Italian food which is usually safe. All 4 of us agreed that our food was sub-par. Service was attentive but rushed. Decor is pretty but "faux" like a Cheesecake Factory. Lots of superior options all over Little Italy.
One must shout to the person sitting across from them if they want to be heard over their loud music. My friend’s leftover fish carcass was dropped on his head when plates were cleared. And although they made sure to put their mandatory tip and fees on there, splitting the check among the diners was “against policy” REALLY? We were sat down over 15 minutes after our reservation time .
Gian Luca was a great server! He made us feel accommodated and welcomed. I felt the food was mediocre, it was lacking flavor and most especially for the serving size for the price. The cheese wheel special pasta didn’t really taste that special either. Probably would not come back here for dinner.
This was my 2nd time at Roman Wolves and sadly, this time, the food was disappointing and underwhelming. Not sure what happened yesterday, but the food was subpar (at best).
Took 5 minutes for the hostess to show up. They charge a surcharge due to californias minimum wage. The pasta made in a cheese wheel which is we went for is not worth the price.
The food came out 5 minutes after ordering and one dish was risotto. I expected fresh ingredients. The artichokes in the risotto were canned (pickled). Lack flavor and pasta was very hard and stuck together. Very disappointed. Services and ambiance was great!
The place is beautiful and the food was great! However we had a terrible experience, our server never bothered to check up on us and didn't bother explaining anything of the menu. He didn't even introduce himself.
Food was pretty good, but the service was very poor. Slow, didn’t refill water or drinks, and 20+ minutes between courses. Server was rude.
