Music was way too loud for our liking. Food and service very good. Four of us were seated at an 8 top in the back and we were so far apart we had to scream to hear each other over the music. The environment took away from what could have been the perfect night out as we were all excited about having some good Italian food that evening.
It was literally OKAY. Like MID as hell. The cheese wheel that’s like $80 looks like it was holding on to dear life trynna make it through another Alfredo😭. I got like a pasta can’t remember because it wasn’t memorable I’m telling you. And my bf and I sat like in between two other couples and had barely any space or privacy. Not really worth the price. Got to Olive Garden tho ✨
Came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Very slow service. Waited almost an hour for everything to come out, and we had to ask for our last entree when it didn’t arrive with the rest. Noise level was high partly because we couldn’t hear ourselves over the overly loud music. Almost felt like a sports bar. Food was decent but didn’t live up to the hype. Servers were nice but inattentive. I get it’s busy and popular but I had expected more. Disappointing.
Overall the experience was not the best. While the service was okay, since I got there I felt off. The music was so loud I couldn’t hear my partner speak. I had to repeat myself to the waiter many times because of the music. After waiting till 11 pm to get out table since that’s all they had, that sat us right next to another couple basically sharing a table, me and my partner felt awkward to even speak to each other because we didn’t feel comfortable with the couple that was basically on top of each other looking at us ever... read more
Don’t come here unless you’re white or don’t mind sitting all the way at the back of the restaurant. My boyfriend and I came for a Valentine’s Day dinner with a reservation at 5:30. Despite there being PLENTY of empty tables for two people at the main area of the restaurant, we were seated ALL the way in the back. It just so happened that all the 3 parties seated all the way at the back with NOBODY else were Mexican, black and Indian while everyone at the front/main area of the restaurant were white. Our server Ashlin as it ... read more
Couldn’t tell if it was a sports bar (tv on wall playing sports) or a restaurant. Food was mediocre and service was 2 out of 10.
This was by far the worst experience I have had in San Diego. This was SO upsetting. We spent $220, during restaurant week nonetheless for HORRIBLE service, subpar food and mediocre drinks. Our server was disinterested in us from the start. She barely came up to us, and was annoyed when we told her our food came out cold. I ordered the risotto balls for an app, they were cold. But ate them without complaining. Then after 75 minutes (yes 1 hour 15 minutes) my entree of shrimp Alfredo came out ALONE. When I asked for my fiancé... read more
Went for the first time during restaurant week, and had quite a poor quality experience. Service was quite slow, and when our food did arrive, it wasn’t even hot. I paid the extra $10 for the steak entree, and it was incredibly dry as if it had been sitting out for a bit prior to being brought to the table. Even with the restaurant week deal, this is a place I would have skipped as it was not worth it. The only redeeming quality was a good tiramisu.
The ambience is Italian, but the food--mashed potatoes?--hardly seems Roman.
