We visited on Saturday for lunch... The food was ok not excellent as I have had before. Our server Nick was the worst!!! Not friendly, we had to ask to place our order & he never came back to see if we liked our food or to refill our drinks :( I even had to ask for our bill to leave... I was not impressed & most likely will never return
Went there tonight with friends and was very un-impressed. Fish & chips- Mostly batter and overdone and the fries were old and borderline burnt. The coleslaw tasted like there was just mayonnaise on it. Pizza- The sauce tastes more like sweet and sour sauce than pizza sauce. The enchilada special was ok but not any better than a mediocre Mexican restaurant. The setting here is absolutely incredible. I have waited a long time to dine here, but was very disappointed in not only the service, but the food. Entrees are very pricey (they don't come with salads), and the food was cold. We had a large party and all of us are 20% and above tippers. This is the first time in a long time that it was hard to leave that kind of gratuity, even though I did it anyway. Hope the restaurant can resolve these issues because the place could be fabulous, and it was FAR from it.
Great food but horrible service! The only reason I came for is a great time with friends. First time experience not so great. I am taught that customer service is key, that's how a business grows. The only courtesy I received is from the kitchen staff, they should probably try to be the new servers.
Gotta love Rose's, always delicious food nice beverage selection and the pretty view a nice view of Reeds Lake...enjoy!
