Large groups are tough (12 people) but overall it was a good experience. I have eaten at the Roxy many times over the years and there are definitely things they are good at (raviolis, wagyu burgers, and steak are good). But service can be uneven at times.

Food and service from Spencer were both excellent. Roxy continues to be our favorite reataurant in Reno
Food was good, but service was not great. Also way too loud.

Service is always phenomenal! Water glasses always kept full and always ask if if we want more bread. Butchers steak is our favorite. Always a must when we visit the Reno.

The only problem was that Roxy never got my reservation thru Open Table. They seated me just fine but there was no record I had made a reservation.

Excellent dinner and service.
We couldn't get in at Ruth's Chris steakhouse , but that turned out to be a good thing. The service, the food and the ambiance were amazing at Roxy. I tried Kangaroo that night and it was delicious. That is the sort of thing you remember. Dining at Roxy is a one of a kind experience , and while they have all the classic steaks and seafood you expect at an upscale restaurant ,they also have many dishes you aren't going to see anywhere else. If you are feeling a bit adventurous definitely give this place a chance.
