My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary at the Saltlik last week. It was our first time going and we loved the food so much we would definitely go back. It's not often we spend over $100 in a restaurant and feel like we got our money's worth, but at the Saltlik we did. Every dish was amazing from the appetizers to the entree to the desert. Awesome Canadian Steakhouse experience!!
Waiter was very friendly and pleasant. He chatted with all of us and stopped by frequently to see if we needed anything. Food was very good and the fries were amazing. Definitely didn't leave hungry.
Saltlik was great! The food was delicious and came out promptly. The service was also quick and courteous.
The wok fried calamari achieved a spot in the top 3 best I've ever had. I was a bit surprised when it arrived without a tzatziki or other similar dipping sauce, and was going to bring this up with the waitress, until I had my first bite and then I understood...this calamari needed no dipping sauce. Definitely high on my list of recommendations. We have been to Saltlik many times and especially to celebrate an occasion and or when inviting someone who has not been to this restaurant. Typically it is high-scores across the board but on this occasion; Saturday August 13; the steaks were just not cutting it. I don't know if it has something to do with the down turn in the AB economy but the steaks were good but not great and not the typically high quality that I have always experienced and now expect.
