Great night and meal!
The steak was OUTSTANDING and the accompanying baked potato was tasty but needed more 'fixin's'. My Step Mom had the Salmon and she enjoyed it. We started with the coconut prawns and calamari and they were both delicious. I think as all the additional accompaniments are charges, they should at least serve a sourdough or some kind of bread with the meal. Fantastic steak, and great service. A convenient location for a business lunch.
With all the other restaurants on 8 Avenue closing down the Salt Lik was around 70% full for this lunch and had a good vibe. Service and food are good but the prices are a bit high so value is my one area of concern. It was nice to see a romaine lettuce salad as opposed to kale. Kale salads are all the rage and I prefer good old fashioned Caesar with romaine so that was a real bonus.
It was a birthday celebration. The steak was delicious. Cooked to perfection. Potato was included but had to order veg separately. I don’t like that Love the ambience in an old building looking out onto the mall and other old buildings. Nice and close to Vertigo theatre where we went afterwards
Excellent service. Excellent food. Perfect spot for going to the theatre.
We were looking for a very good steakhouse and were not disappointed. Inviting interior space. Menu provided plenty choice, even for non- red meat eaters. Food was presented well. Worth a repeat visit
Service wasn't too good with this particular waitress. The food was mediocre and not nearly as good as at the Keg.
