Very enjoyable meal and excellent service at Saltlik. Our waiter was very friendly and open to making a couple of menu changes for us. We will defintely go back to this restaurant.
Service was amazing, food was great and timing was spot on!
Calamari and ribs are delicious. Service was very good. Restaurant was very accommodating when I needed to add 2 more to the reservation earlier in the day. Our friends really enjoyed the meal.
We were a group of 6 celebrating a graduation. I asked the server at the beginning of the night if he could bring something small like a dessert for the graduatee as a small celebration. He said no worries and he would take care of that. Parking was ridiculous!! It wants to be a most fabulous steakhouse. Esp judging by the prices. Menu is not compelling. Food was just ok. Side dishes ... extra $ ... are merely a flagrant attempt to boost revenues ... also taste ok ... even the "large" ones are laughably small. Service was passable. The two us had an enjoyable Friday lunch at Saltlik. The restaurant was busy so active and noisy. The waiter was friendly and efficient and the other staff kept water glasses full and the food arrived promptly. The calamari starter was one of the best I've had in Calgary. Instead of tiny deep fried pieces their's were large and tender. We had 2 pasta dishes which were both well prepared. An excellent choice for lunch or evening dining in the Stephen Avenue area.
If you want to get in and out within an hour, make sure you place your order right away and follow up on timings
The service was quick, friendly and professional. This was a working lunch and everyone was happy with their meals and I was happy with the price. The food, service, and ambiance was above average which is what we paid for.
The Saltlik has been a great restaurant for many years in Calgary. The service is always great, but the menu and the food need some work. I found it hard to find a good choice for lunch. Steaks are always incredible, but they just need to work on what comes with. Those stringing fries are horrible and no one at our table ate them. Maybe a couple salad options with steak and upgrade the fries:-)
