Not my first time to Saltlik but had a bad experience last time I had lunch with a client. I ordered sirloin steak and the special veggies. The veggies was late and the steak was, although medium rare, chewy and hard to eat to the extent that I was only able to take a couple of bites and I was done. The server and restaurant manager were very apologetic an offered another steak but was too late already. Needless to say, both the veggies and steak were taken off the bill. Food was great and served quite promptly. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was wonderful, hot, fresh and tasty. A great spot for lunch!
The reason I said they were overall outstanding is that after we ordered our drinks and cheered each other on our wedding anniversary, we were chatting and suddenly realized that we haven't seen anyone to take our food order. I stopped a nearby waitress who apologized and said she would go and get the manager. Food was good, although a little pricey. Hostesses were nice, good runners/bussers were friendly, but the server was inconsiderate, sassy and weak. Made my birthday dinner experience mediocre at best.
It was my first time at Saltlik and I loved the food and the service was good! The food stood out to me, the service not so much, it wasn't bad just nothing to special. But I will be going back without a doubt!

Saltlik is a go-to restaurant for me with clients. Service is professional, food is always very good, they are attentive and will get you out on time if in a hurry. Love their calamari and chocolate molten lava cake! We also tried the lobster grilled cheese this visit and it was as good as it sounds!
We were greeted at the door by a very pleasant hostess and shown to a lovely fireside table. Our waitress and servers were very attentive and let us control the flow of our evening. We enjoyed our cocktails and appetizers - try the 'popcorn' shrimp!! The French onion soup was delicious and a cup was just the right size. By the time my Michelangelo pasta arrived, as good as it was, it was too much to eat. I had it wrapped for take out. All said, ambiance and service were excellent I'd go back for another special occasion.
Went for a special occasion & food (steaks) was excellent. The service was very fast - almost too fast. Desert choices were very limited so we went elsewhere for desert and coffee.
