We went for Calgary's Big Taste experience and had the fixed menu; it didn't disappoint. The restaurant was nicely furnished and comfortable and the service was excellent. The homemade Moroccan chicken soup was nicely spiced and very delicious. My wife had the Atlantic salmon and I had the braised beef ribs. Both were well presented and deliciously prepared. Dessert was sticky toffee pudding which we both thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely return and select other menu items.
I came here for the first time during Big Taste and it was wonderful. food was amazing and steak was flavourful. I definitely recommend it. I can't wait to go back
The soup and dessert were awesome. Especially the dessert, it was the best one from the "Big Taste Calgary" menus. The main course of beef short ribs was just ok. The short ribs were more like a pulled pork consistency. Had to ask twice for fresh ground pepper, because the waiter forgot the first time.
Went for big taste. The short ribs and seared salmon were fantastic. We enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding cake very much. However, the service was a bit slow and it was too noisy for a fine dining restaurant.
We started with a salad, followed by steak and frites. The steak was delicious served with parsley butter and delicious skinny fries. For dessert, it was a sticky toffee pudding and salted caramel that was to die for but I was waaay too full to eat it all! Great value and experience overall.
My server Rodney was very professional and gave us amazing service... i truly enjoyed my night.
As always Saltlik is an excellent experience. Great good and friendly, competent waitstaff

Went here on a Saturday night with a friend for the Big Taste. Started with the Moroccan Chicken soup (friend had the salad; both were good but salad seemed to be lacking a bit of oomph) and had the beef short ribs as the main. Good portion sizes and short ribs were tender and delicious. Although we were already too full for dessert, we finished off with the sticky toffee pudding, swimming in a pool of toffee sauce.
