I went there with a friend of mine Saturday for an early dinner. We were seated immediately and our server was absolutely amazing. He was very knowledgable, funny, efficient, and even made suggestions on where to go later that evening. We started with popcorn shrimp and French onion soup. Both were incredible. We had a great dining experience at the Saltlik for my husbands birthday dinner. The Halibut was cooked to perfection and the sirloin steaks were done exactly how our family ordered them. The only issue we had was when I booked this reservation on line was, I requested a high chair and the Saltlik didn't have one when we got to the restaurant. The food was tasty, and the service was very good. However, there was just too much butter in my meal, which gave me an upset tummy for the rest of the afternoon. I think the same taste qualities could be achieved with less butter and more herbs.

Impressed with the lunch service. Fast delivery of food without asking, which was appreciated as we were on a tight schedule and this enabled us to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed.

I had heard this was a great restaurant so I booked for a birthday. The service was very good. We ordered shrimp and wings to start and that was very nice. I had the halibut and it was also quite good however the steaks were a huge disappointment. The New York was a grey slap of beef, absolutely no flavour, no seasonings and overcooked, the filet was cold with not a lot of flavour either. Everything was good but the waitress was nice but she had to many people to look after so the wine was late. Had it after the appetizer. Getting refills was also off. She did indicate she had a big group to attend to also.

We were here for a nice lunch, the service and food were very good, but the noise level was so high we had to yell across the table at each other to be heard, which is annoying.
