I hadn't been to Saltlik in a long time, and unfortunately I don't think I will be back anytime soon. For the cost of nearly $200 dollars for a lunch meeting I would expect my lunch to be properly prepared and unfortunately my steak was extremely under cooked even after I sent it back once.

I recognize that the price point is on par with mainstream chains but expected more. Banff was great, good food, ambiance and tasty cocktails - this was ordinary. Portion sizes were ample but quality underwhelming - maybe a bad day for the kitchen but I do have to give it up for location. Looking for a quiet spot to connect with quick service it meets the needs of a business clientelle focused on conversation not experience.

The only downside was the portions were on the smaller side but the food was so filling that it was barely noticeable. Everything was delicious and the waiter was on top of us but not overwhelmingly so. Would come back again on a special occasion.

My daughter and I went for a Mommy/Daughter date (she's 22). Wonderful service, amazing food and great atmosphere. Thumbs up all the way around for this place.

Four of us enjoyed dinner at Salt Lik pre theatre. We were seated in front of a cozy fire place with a view to the outside passersby. Following cocktails we ordered 2 pasta dishes, one small filet and the Hunter chicken. A bottle of Whatchamacallit red wine well accompanied all four meals. Everyone was delighted with their specific choice, evidenced by the comment that each of us would order the same meal again. This is a favourite restaurant of ours as a dinner pre concert. When we are time restricted the staff see to us quickly without rush. We have never had a bad steak there, they are always delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive. The ambience buzzy. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a good steak. They even cater for small appetites, featuring a petite filet which is perfect.

Very enjoyable meal and excellent service at Saltlik. Our waiter was very friendly and open to making a couple of menu changes for us. We will defintely go back to this restaurant.
