Really busy. Service was not great. Our waiter paid most of his attention to a particular table. Definitely disappointed with the service. Food good though.
Nobody can beat their skinny fries! And they have the BEST hamburger. It's worth passing on a steak just to have the burger.
LOVE Saltlik in Banff. Chicago style steak??? Yes Please! Thats why we decided to pop into Saltlik Calgary on the way to the airport, feed up here instead of eating rubbish airport food! Was slightly gutted that the Calagary restaurant doesn't offer the Scalloped Potatoes like they do in Banff, but I easily found something to replace them. Great food, great atmostphere, great place to be!
Pricey, but well worth the cost. Good food and they don't quibble over substitutions. Wait staff is helpful and attentive. Atmosphere is up-scale but still very comfortable.
Overall our experience at Saltlik was extremely disappointing. Our server was nice but really did not know how to be a waitress - especially at a higher end restaurant. When she finally got around to taking our drink order about 20 minutes after we sat down we ordered a bottle of wine. After another 15 minutes, just before our salad arrived, she asked if we wanted the bottle of wine when the main course was to be served.
