As a brass player, I love getting great advice from Josh Mandel in the White Plains store. Always helpful with practical advice from a musician’s point of view. One of my go to places for everything musical.
I've been in the store several times & I always leave happy. My new guitar looks great . I was not pressured into buying services or items that a could not afford or need. I will be back for more things as needed.

Brought my teenage son in for a new trumpet. We both so appreciated the time and attention he received, trying out several models for a half hour, until he made a decision. Great service and very much worth the trip.
The service at Sam Ash is always tops. Each time I walk in looking for something vague, like "a Pedal with a funky sound" or "that one funny looking cord", the staff's expertise always helps me find exactly what I'm looking for. On top of that, if I come in with a specific idea of what I'm looking for, (having done minimal research), the sales team always is more focused on what my needs as a musician are instead of making a sale, and often suggests things I hadn't heard of that blow my expectations away. We got help right away, they were very helpful, very pleasant, very respectful and I’d be more than happy to go back and recommend this store.
