StorAmerica's 42nd Palm Desert location earns high praise by my family's experience. Previously we saved money using different storage companies that cluster on Varner Rd & Monterey just north of the 10 freeway, but every time at Varner Rd storage facilities when I opened the unit door ----- even when the unit was inside the deep hallway of a protective building ----- there was a sheet of desert dust caked over and into every item. I found StorAmerica PD after searching all over CV for a storage facility that would allow me to unload my pods. I almost gave up after getting zero results. Stephanie was incredibly accommodating and offered a deal I'm pretty sure no one could match. Unloading was so easy and the facility is very clean and secure.

I stored a number of things here for 4 years and was always pleased with their service. The place was always kept very clean and I never had any problems with theft or break ins. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable. The prices are great too.
Enereo is the best manager a storage company can have. Yesterday I went to StorAmerica to get a storage unit. Not only was he super friendly and helpful, but he recommended a mover that moved our family so fast and so well. I have had a unit here for many years,they are always helpful. They always help when needed. The 2 star experience listed must be sour grapes. They would never do what that guy is saying.
The young lady who helped me obtain my unit was so helpful. Even though this wasn't her usual place to work (she was assigned to help out in this facility), she was very helpful and sweet. I feel bad that I didn't get her name because she should be recognized for her dedication to her job. The unit I rented needs a bit of work but all in all it's doable.
We have had a storage unit here for two years. We just rented a second one yesterday. The employees are so helpful and kind. They even tried to get our second unit as close to the original one as possible. Their prices are competitive. Go check them out if you are looking for a storage unit.
