We liked the entire process. The process was pretty smooth. We didn't have any real problems. We noticed the other day, that we think we got the wrong color carpet. It was very bright at the location where we picked it out. We thought we picked a gray. It is something we should have noticed when we did the walkthrough. We can't fault anyone for that. Overall, the experience with Smith Douglas Homes was fine. I think that some parts of the construction process could have been done better. The local general contractor did a good job rectifying everything that he could. I think the subcontractors could have done a better job. The biggest grip that I have is with the concrete. We had a lot of cracking all over the foundation and driveway. The general contractor did good and tried his best to make it right. They resurfaced it; however, the underlying cracks are still there.
