The decor was lovely - enhanced the ambiance. Potions medium which was fine for us ladies. Not too small though. Service was a bit slow considering there were not many people. Bathrooms could be nicer - not aligned with overall decor. I would recommend as it also has an excellent location.
We did their January special which was excellent value for money. Great friendly service and good steak even though it was a bargain.

The restaurant was completely empty - though was told it was 'advisable' to book. For this reason It lacked atmosphere - but beautifully appointed. Food was good, and value was not bad for such a nice place. Waiter was a bit too reserved for my taste. But overall good.
Great value special open table offer. Proper USDA meat, well presented. This is a big restaurant and they are wanting to fill tables. Good value, but pricey if you go off piste. If you can afford it go to Hawksmoor, the service and food are better. But if your happy with their special offer this is the place for you.

Very pleasant evening spent at S&W. Whilst on the website the ‘vegetarian menu’ was advertised, in reality there were only limited options. My choice (roasted veg with polenta) was nice but I felt the menu could have been more extensive. My carnivore partner had the burger which I am reliably informed was fantastic.
