Quite an expensive steakhouse but you cannot fault it on the quality of the dishes, the attentive waiting staff. Be warned though that the min. prices for a main course tends to start from £30 each and jumps up in stacks of £30s - so it is very easy to spend £150 per head which is very pricey for the majority of people who just want to fleet in and out near The Strand to head for theatre land thereafter.

Staff and service were outstanding!
I’ve been to Smith & Wollensky restaurants in the US and some have been good and some not so. In short, this was probably the best one I’ve experienced. Our booking was for 7pm, we arrived early but were immediately shown to our table. The starters were great but were out done (in a good way) by the chateaubriand that followed - cooked to perfection. Great place, good food and excellent service but very expensive(Almost £40 for the cheapest steak and very few wines under £60 a bottle), which probably explains why the place as almost empty even on a Friday evening. If the prices were a little more realistic I'd be there often. As it is there are plenty of other options serving great steaks at far better prices. The place must be operating at a loss and I can't imagine it being open long unless they re-think their pricing.
This is a go2 for work and my boss does really enjoy the venue
We visited for a 30th birthday and the food, although pricey, did not disappoint! The giant chocolate slice with a handwritten icing message was a great touch to the evening and served all 10 of us! Delicious steak & cocktails
