Always loved Smith and Wollensky in Manhattan and can’t believe I left it so long to come to the London restaurant after Pat Brennan told me it was opening years ago. An annual dinner with ex colleagues, we all enjoy our steak and all agreed it was Outstanding. We didn’t stretch to the USDA steaks but stuck with 60 day aged Irish beef which was a significantly less expensive. I seem to remember the USDA Ribeye was £79 without sides!! Everything was excellent and as I work very close by, this will be a regular lunch spot on my list.
One of my better dining experiences, service was first class but would expect so as its very pricey. Non the less my family and I had a great time and the steak and desserts were michelin starred quality.
Booked this restaurant for a specialnight as it was wife’s birthday. We were welcomed straight away by the door staff and then by the reception team. Although we were early, this did not have any bearing to our arrival or seating. Once at our seat at the restaurant, the staff knew the menu off by heart and were able to answer any questions we had about the food. Food was incredible, but took an hour and a half to get mains out (We didn't order starters) which was incredibly frustrating
