I have gone to Solis for years and only go for Dr. Gentry who is an exceptional doc. I give her a 5. The Solis staff and company itself is awful and they deserve zero stars. They are not healers and can not understand when issues arise that are out of a humans understanding. As a provider myself the compassion you show others when going through rough times is part of the experience. Learn to be more flexible with your patients. I had my yearly mammogram screening last week, and got a call back asking me to come in for an additional diagnostic 3D mammogram and bilateral ultrasound as the previous photos weren't clear enough (I have dense breasts). Long story short, my insurance company told me that because I haven't met my yearly deductible, the entire procedure after discounting their fees, would cost me upwards of $450 out of pocket. First of all, they confirmed my appointment after my appointment time. Immediately upon arrival, coming out of the hot Phoenix summer air, they took my temp and said it was too high -- 98.8. I had taken my temp before arriving and it was 97.2. They said they would take it again because it was hot outside. Then it was 98.6, which is normal. They said that wasn't good enough. Sadly Solis has transitioned from a motto of "we care" to "we profit". Over the years, I had 3 scans all done by the same radiologist at one of Solis original locations, now consolidated to here (most likely to reduce overhead). This is incredibly important for those who have "fibrous" breasts, which is a lot of us gals! My appointment was at 12:30....I arrived at 12:20....waited over an hour. Kept asking what the hold up was. An employee told me she would check for me. She walked to her desk and never got back up after 10 min. Not efficient and a waste of time. I should also point out that my bestie had a 12:30 appointment and was seen immediately. I also watched patients check in at 1:00 get seen immediately.

The company called me about the review and apologized. But nothing else was done. I'm not sure what happened to the employee. But on top of all of this I called a month ago and requested my cd results be mailed out to me for my surgeon to see and they said they would and it would be delivered in 7 days ... a month later and my appt monday I still haven't received it... This is my second time getting my annual diagnostic ultrasound at Solis. My breast surgeon referred me to Solis, stating they were the best in the valley. For my 2019 exam, it was the last appointment of the day on a Friday. When I arrived, I was told they were not in-network for my insurance - which I gave them when I schedule the appointment weeks prior. I decided to proceed with the procedure. I had been a patient of Dr Hanson,etc for 25 years. They sold the practice to another company before it was bought by Solis a few years ago. Now all the original practitioners unfortunately have retired. Fast forward to today. I made the appointment for my annual 3d Mammo, Breast Ultrasound and Bone Dexa a month and 1/2 ago. I had an appt for tomorrow but the office called to say that my doctor never sent the order. I told the lady when I called that I haven't seen my obgyn recently and I just wanted to get a mammogram. Arizona state law states that I can go anywhere for a mammogram without a doctor's order. But apparently this is not the case for Solis. So the girl happily said "ok that's fine I will cancel your appt for tomorrow!" She could care less if they lost my business or not.
