Dr needed bone density update for Prolia shot. Solis called me to make the appt. I am there as scheduled time. Wait 25 minutes...after disrobing and getting to scan room, informed that they can only compare to the lSt scan done at that office which was four years ago; if needed compared the one done two years ago, need to go PV office. I said of course I needed to have compared to the last one not the 4 year old one and why waste all my time. She had the audacity to say "why did I make the appt there?"! Went to the Solis on Tatum and Cactus in Phoenix. First 3D. Of course, they didn't like my fibrous breasts so I was up for an ultrasound. Waited a month for this appointment. Got the ultrasound and they didn't like that. Had to give me a biopsy with a marker inserted. The doctor didn't know facility, was asking about gauge size of needles (I'm a retired RN), that same appointment I noticed I had two birthdates in their system, and to top it off they couldn't accurately find what was bothering them in the first place. I went into the building originally to determine why my blind friend had difficulty with her appointment. I verified the long walk that was necessary to reach the Solis suite from handicap parking. My exam was fine...professional and competent. Her experience with the exam was otherwise. Young techs didn't know how to deal with a disabled person... No such problems previously. Will not return to this location!

I have been going to Solis for many years and have always been satisfied. However, customer service does not seem to be as good as it has been in the past . A few weeks ago I showed up for my appointment (took time off from work) only to find the office closed. When I called they stated there was an equipment issue and that I needed to reschedule. Went in for my annual mammogram. When I realized I was running about 10 minutes late, I called in to see if I needed to reschedule. Nice lady on phone said no, so long as I arrived within 15 minutes of my appointment time. Got there within 15 minute window and apologized to reception desk clerk. Within minutes all signed in and updated my records on I-Pad. Then I sat for the next 45 minutes! One by one the waiting area cleared out and new ladies came in---but I didn't get called. Been going here for years with no problems but this year was ghastly. I'm thinking the tech I had was an ex-nun who really doesn't like her job. I tried some small talk which she was having no part of as this was perhaps a day to observe silence at the nunnery. Then I moved twice because half my boob was hanging off the shelf. For a place that is supposed to cater to women I found them very insensitive. Due to family history the annual mammogram day is stressful for me. In addition, I have had thyroid cancer and a near miss with colon cancer so my annual sonogram for thyroid screening also creates some apprehension. Finally throw on the fact that I am rather introverted and just not Chatty Cathy. The biggest mistake Solis made was when they noticed a spot on my mammogram and then didn't inform me about it. I later felt the lump, which turned out to be cancerous, and only then did I discover that the lump had been noticed by Solis 9 months earlier. I advise everyone to get copies of all your records and look at the images yourself.
