After finding a lump, my doctor recommended Solis Mammography for a mammogram. I was obviously worried about finding a lump. When I called the person on the phone caused me some confusion and distress with telling me I had to call my doctor and haver her change the order for a diagnostic mammogram versus the traditional one that is covered by insurance. I was nervous to go to Solis based off the mixed reviews I'd seen online. But I was needing a breast ultrasound and this was where my midwife referred me. The facility was nice and clean and everyone from the receptionist to the radiologist was friendly and made me feel at ease. From the time I arrived to when I left I was only there 40 minutes. Very easy to schedule online. Great reminder system. Clean modern place with friendly and competent staff. I was in and out in 15 minutes!

The place is very new and modern, and the decor is elegant, almost like a high-end gym. They had neat little lockers to store your belongings, and each one was named after a famous woman: Michelle Obama, Oprah.. I was the only customer there. I came in for a mammogram and was done in about 30 minutes, but I like that they were thorough since I am in a high-risk group. Do not go here!!! They billed me under the facility instead of the provider. So I was charged out of network. I've been dealing with this since last March. So almost a year every time I call and they say they're behind in the back office, but the back office will get to it when they get to it. In the meantime, they sent me to collections which is ridiculous cause you know United healthcare paid this at 100% and network beware. However, it is a shame billing stinks because the mammo techs and facility are nice.

TERRIBLE billing service and customer service! I received two large bills and called several times. I didn't get anywhere so I went in person and the office manager said she would email her billing department and copy me because they didn't handle billing. It was probably coded incorrectly with my insurance. She did not Copy me and probably didn't even email them. I followed up with a phone call to her and an email and no response! They are in network for my insurance but used a radiologist who was not in network. I was billed for this mammogram which should have been 100% covered. I, the patient have no control over who solis uses the read the mammogram. They said they would put my account on hold while it went to "the back office" for review. I had to speak to Chelsey at Solis regrading my mammogram. She was very rude and was very clear that she did not care about my situation. I immediately cancelled my appointment and went to a different imaging facility.

My wife was seen for a diagnostic mammogram in September, and paid the co-insurance amount of $513 as instructed by the staff. 3 months later I noticed that the insurance explanation of benefits showed that they had fully covered the procedure. Upon contacting Solis, I was told that they had a glitch in their system which had caused the co-insurance amount to not be refunded. They stated it would be refunded within 6-8 weeks.
