Maybe there is a worse plumbing service, but I have never seen it. I just bought a house to find a broken toilet. They came out and said it needed replacing, $962. But he did not remove the carpet around the toilet that we told him we were laying tile (who wants carpet in a bathroom?) He stated that removing the carpet was too hard for him, but it would be fine. All the carpet but the toilet had been removed. I called to get the toilet removed and put down on the floor. The anode rod in my gas hot-water heater was replaced for $340.00. The rod cost around $40.00. When compared to another provider of the same service, the estimated cost for replacement was about $150.00. I'm not interested in paying "gold-coast" prices for service in Wallingford. I asked that my account be removed from Solvit's records.
A $2 hose and 15 min install Cost $175 Does this sound fair? If I was not a disabled vet. I would have done it myself
At over $200 per hour, this was without a doubt the most expensive plumbing job I have ever had done. While the work was OK, the price was outrageous. I would never hire them again or recommend them to anyone.

Electrician was supposed to email receipt for services purchased and paid and no receipt was received. Also, pricing is standardized according to how the project need is entered into the system and was overpriced.
