So glad to read your practice no longer participates in de clawing! I was surprised to read the comment wherein a client states she went there to declaw her newly adopted kittens. Thank you for responding and clearing that up!!! Good thing I won't need to find a new vet clinic!! Thanks again, Dr Weir is awesome so I'm not surprised!

I've had dogs all my life and have never felt more comfortable with my pet's medical care than with Dr. Pane. In fact, our Lexi is not only NOT fearful of visiting Dr. Pane, she LOVES it! He's not only a wonderful veterinarian, he's a caring person who takes his time with both the animals and their owners. We are very lucky to have him and his wonderful staff, especially Mimi, who has been working with Dr. Pane for THIRTY-NINE (39) years! That should tell you something :-)
This is probably my most favorite Animal Hospital. The Vet is awesome and very friendly to the Animals. They have a cool app that basically creates a profile for your pet. They keep up with your pets medications and know what is best for your pets. They do have an exotic vet there as well which a-lot of other vets do not. Only reason i came to this vet was because I couldn't for the life of me find an exotic veterinarian. I called around 10 other vets to success. The prices weren't much either. Our hats are off to Dr. Payne and the entire staff for their participation in the Community Cats Program. We had a young feral cat, 4-5 months old, show up at our house just prior to Irma. We were able to confine her during the storm and she continued to hang around but shuns human contact. When we took our cat to SKAH we asked what we should do and were told about the free Community Cats Program where the cat is neutered and receives a rabies vaccination. I love this Veterinary office. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr Pane is the best! He is very friendly, very caring about his patients, he does a very thorough exam and explains everything to you. I have also seen Dr Weiner who is also very nice and caring about her patients, she did a very thorough examination even though she is not our regular vet that we see at the office. I recently adopted two kittens and researched a new method of declawing which is performed using a laser instead of a blade. I was surprised that not many vets offer this method of declawing. I had declawed my 13 year old cat when laser was hardly being used and was worried that I would be using another vet that I was not accustomed to, however from the moment I walked in I felt at ease. I took Dixie in for her yearly checkup to see Dr. Shelia Faulkner. Dixie is a yellow lab that is very nervous to visit the Vet. Dr. Faulkner is very patient with Dixie and eases her anxiousness. Dixie had a thorough exam even though she didn't want to hold still. Dr. Faulkner examined her sitting on the floor with her. Thank you Dr. Faulkner for Dixie's excellent care.
I cannot say enough how grateful I am for the staff at S Kendall Animal Hospital! I called them in a panic b/c my 3 yr old Bulldog mix was vomiting and had diarrhea with some blood.They told me to bring him in and they will get him in immediately. When I go there unfortunately I had to wait due to another emergency and being the hot headed dog mom I am, I was upset and a bit rude. The staff remained professional the whole time!! I am absolutely amazed at how great and professional these people are. I have two fancy rats and one of them (Charlie) had a broken nail that would not stop bleeding for two days straight. I called out of work and was able to make a same day appointment. I was greeted and asked to take a seat. I sat down for about 5 minutes or less until I was called.
