Was looking for somewhere nice & relaxing to eat, while on an overnight stay in Bath, prior to watching Howard Jones in concert at The Forum. This restuarant went someway to making the night the success it turned out to be. Lovely, warm atmosphere, superb service & genuinely really great food. It set the good mood for the evening ahead, and both my wife & I can recommend the Square Grill with total confidence and with hesitation. 10/10
Wonderful experience here, loved the live music on piano and service was exceptional. The atmosphere was amazing and highly recommend this place! You don’t be disappointed.
Had Sunday roast dinner, roast beef medium rare with Yorkshire pudding. Fine meal, excellent bread (warm), good wine list. Portions are generous, did not order starters. Excellent service (thank you, Ravi). Recommend ground floor and reserve during busy tourist season. Would recommend more melodious than energetic tunes for the pianist. At times difficult to hear each other at the table.
We have visited this venue several times and it’s been brilliant on every occasion. Very good booking system and any queries are answered by someone if you phone. The whole place is so well organised and extremely well run by polite and attentive staff. The food is wonderful with a good vegetarian choice and the arancini light bites with cheese sauce are delicious. We always love listening to the piano and singing along. I had booked for a group of 7 family ages from 15 to 68. On arrival I was asked my name and they knew it was a group of 7 and taken to a table which had plenty of room for us all and not squished together. We were given menus and plenty of time to choose our food and drinks. The food was exceptional. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive. Will definitely eat here again when in Bath.

A big group of us had a lovely experience and meal here. Food was delicious. The staff even went above and beyond to bring a little birthday pudding for me. Would definitely come here again!

Second visit here and food was as ever outstanding as was the service. The only issue we had was that they brought our appetiser (olives) and then literally brought our main which really wasn't good. Apart from that we cannot fault it. The quality of the food is excellent and considering its prime position the price represents good value . Just on this occasion we felt a little rushed for the first two courses
