Shown to a nice table, or so we thought. A huge mirror right next to us so we could watch ourselves eat! Unpleasant! Our main issue was the table was right next to the waiters service area, staff didn’t think about the noise level when throwing cutlery in to containers, empty bottles in to the bin. It made it un relaxing. Food was tasty, Terry tingled the ivorys very nicely. Not sure we’d be back as there are a lot of other lovely restaurants Bath.

Fantastic evening. We had dinner upstairs which was great food. A little load with two parties of women but once we finished we went downstairs to drink cocktails and listen to the live piano performances and it was wonderful. Highly recommended

We had an amazing experience. Staff were outstanding, food was very high quality and beautifully cooked and presented. Attention was good and not intrusive. Also there seemed very good relationships between the staff. For me an important part of the experience are the toilets and these were of a very high stand and very clean. Lunch out to celebrate my daughter and her boyfriend’s birthdays. Great varied menu, excellent portion sizes and delicious food. The staff came out with a brownie and a candle to sing happy birthday, was a great experience

This is the second time we have come for a Saturday morning breakfast and it didn't disappoint. The choice is great with some unusal offerings such as the crispy zucchini with smoked salmon and poached eggs and devon crab Eggs Benedict. This time we both had a full English which was generous and beautifully presented. The coffee is really good and the service is impeccable (proper old fashioned waitering and really friendly). Great food , we chose to sit outside on a slightly chilly afternoon, and the heaters were automatically put on for us, and we had rugs for our legs. Our young waiter was very attentive and friendly.
