Use to go to THE OTHER large practice in Damascus,8-10 dentist. They claimed to take my insurance , after the whole family went there said we take your insurance, just don't honor their rates, they're too low. ?? so they want as many patients as the insurance company can refer but won't honor their side of the contract. I made them honor the price and had the insurance company dropped their practice from the list. Now I go to Dr. McKane. Never a billing issue, prices match plan, great dentist.
Awesome practice. Although I hate coming to the dentist, they are always so very nice, it makes things much easier. Dr. McKane is not allowed to move or retire -ever!

Dr. McKane is a great dentist! He is welcoming and easy to talk. The staff at Damascus Dental are very kind and friendly as well. They try to get you in as soon as possible if in an emergency and handle all questions really well: pertaining to scheduling, insurance, billing, or a question dealing with procedures. I have always had a positive experience going to Dr. McKanes office. I would defiantly recommend anyone to go there. It will be a pleasant and satisfying experience.
Dr. McKane never speaks directly to you.Stands behind you & talks to the back of the chair. His staff has made numerous billing mistakes-not one bill I received was ever correct. I was always told Just ignore that bill, we will correct and send another.Would have taken my $750 if I had not called?! One of the front desk staff has said he would investigate what my insurance will cover for a certain procedure 3 times and I never heard back. Now refusing to send records to new dentist. STAY AWAY!

Everyone is well aware of this person. I have a hard time speaking in front of you when you are being condescending/rude. Bill in question was patient's son and it was fixed when we finally got the right insurance information from the patient. Office told you how much your simple filling would cost and you broke four different appointments to do the filling. More than happy to send your records anywhere you want but you actually have to request them-not just talk about it on this site.
