They charged an enormous amount for an oil change and suggested repairs that I confirmed I did not need based on second and third opinions.
Absolutely rude manager. Had to change garage after my last experience. Had to pay over $200 for a diagnosis that was not necessary as problem was fixed for free at the other garage in 3 minutes. No connector issue.
I don't think I will return. The staff are always very pleasant, but didn't offer a great explanation as to why a transmission fluid change was recommended, even though I had it done at my last visit.
Extremely high quote which was immediately offered to be lowered (just give me the real price).
Too much for the work done
I think prices are disproportionate. I don't appreciate when repairs are described as critical while they are actually not (which was disclosed on the phone after direct inquiry). It makes me question the honesty of the business.
The manager of the Stress Free Auto in Menlo Park is anything but stress free. He is very quick to anger, take offense, yell, be on the defensive and bad mouth his customer.
