Had to bring my 2 and half year old lab, Sherman, in yesterday for emergency surgery to remove a linear object. My boy, is usually a nervous wreck around new people and vets. His regular vet wants him on meds and muzzled when he comes in, even though he has no history of biting. They knew all that. Dr Demuth is AMAZING. Our Husky started having Grand Mal seizure's 1 mo before his first birthday. After 7 months of labs, med changes, neurology appts, spinal tap, MRI, seizures every 7-10 days... He never gave up helping us fight for our boy. Yesterday we celebrated his 1 year Anniversary seizure free. He was always so empathetic, kind, knowledgeable and helpful through this whole journey. From the bottom of our hearts we can't thank him enough.
My little fur buddy gets great care here. We humans are also treated very well. I like that the doctors take time to explain the results of their examinations so the humans can make informed decisions.
Summit vets are the best. They show their love and devotion. They even remembered Baby Brody a year later when they were seeing a different pup for our rescue. knowledge is great and their teaching is perfect for lay persons. They are my go to clinic for Emergencies and Specialists. We've been to Cardiology, Neurology, Surgical, Opthamology and the ER. Never a bad experience and all of the staff is polite and caring.
The best specialty and emergency care vet!
Today I rushed in with my very sick kitty. They got her in immediately and started working on her. In the end we had to let her go, but the staff was so incredibly sweet and did everything to make us and our sweet Sophie as comfortable as possible.
