RecommendedDr heiser and his team have been the best for care and after care of our dog that had two (opposite sides) knee surgeries.

I took my 13 month-old English Cream Retriever to Summit to review his history of pain and limping, and review X-rays of his knees. He has luxating patellar in both rear knees. I got very useful and compassionate advice. Summit didn’t press me into a surgery. They gave me steps to take through observation and care. I know now what to watch for, and what warrants surgery. I am very grateful and appreciative.

Our dog developed acute lameness, and we were unable to find any Veterinarians office that would see him. On a chance I wrote to Summit Vet for a self referral to an orthopedic specialist. We received an appointment and he was evaluated by dr Hofeling. Afer seeing him under COVID protocol he came out to the car and carefully explained the problem and the proposed fix. Absolutely the best experience at a Vetrinary clinic that we’ve ever had. Dr. Kice and the entire staff are caring, compassionate, extremely knowledgeable and highly professional. Thorough, continuous communication on the status of our sweet dog before and after his emergency surgery. Taking the time to ask how we were doing showed their caring nature and added that level of comfort for us knowing he was in the best hands possible.
