10/10 Recommend this place. Our German Shepherd was so well cared for during his visit recently. It was an all day visit due to an MRI that was needed. We are so very thankful for the care we received for our boy.

The neurologist, Dr Stewart, and her staff took excellent care of my Rocky Junior when he began having seizures in early 2020. After a CT scan Rocky was diagnosed with epilepsy, and medication is helping live a great life again. Recently I noticed a mass growing on Rocky's chest. I was SO worried he had cancer. Today, after blood work, a biopsy and CT scan I learned Rocky doesn't have cancer. I'm so relieved! Rocky's surgeon, Dr. Hamil, will soon be doing surgery to remove the mass. Like everyone else at Summit, she is... read more

Everyone I interacted with was professional and friendly. Dr. Hoefling spent a lot of time explaining surgical options for my chihuahua with a torn cruciate ligament. What made the difference is he factored in Izzy’s lifestyle and activity levels, when making recommendations. He also provided options for proactively addressing another potential issue, which was a positive. I didn’t feel like she was just a number. Dr Hoefling and the resident Dr kept me informed about her status. Post op instructions were clear. Clini... read more

My dog unexpectedly passed away at home last night. I wanted to take her body to a 24hr vet closer, who I had dealt with three weeks prior as my other dog passed away at home, but they were not open due to a staffing issue. So we brought her to Summit. Our experience felt rushed, cold, and apathetic. Our car was the only car in the parking lot the whole time we were there. They came out quickly to collect payment, but while I was trying to just keep my head on straight from the extreme grief and push the numbers in to get m... read more

Coco was attacked by dogs. He got severe bite wounds and internal injuries. I’m glad I took Coco to Summit hospital. Doctors and nurses saved his life. Thank you so much to doctors for giving close attention and update during Coco was being hospitalized for 7 days. Now Coco is home ❤️❤️

They saved my pup’s life! I drove from Portland to see their emergent neurology service through their ER and my baby Mystertee is making a full recovery! I’m so grateful for this wonderful animal hospital!

This place is amazing! My German Shepherd Protection dog, India, had thrown up on Sunday night and was not feeling well. By Monday morning I could tell something was very wrong. There was not one vet on the harbor that could take her and Onympia’s vet hospital had a long 4 to 5 hr. Wait. I called every vet office from Raymond to Tacoma. I got in touch with Summit, who agreed this was emergent. We drove in, stayed in the car and did some paperwork, maybe 5 minutes, and they came out yo get her. Due yo COVID we waited in the ... read more
