This facility is newer and pleasantly appealing on the inside. Nursing staff is above average. We have experienced some issues with staff disbursing meds that was unexceptable. To add to this, the director of the facility has NEVER returned numerous phone calls when issues arise. The only way to speak with her is to be on site. This is our biggest issue to date. Also, main phone line, more often than not, is not answered for outside callers as well as residents. This is beyond frustrating for all involved. Meals at facility ... read more

The place has sometimes shortage of help on the floor. My friend has wheelchair assistance and sometimes they don't respond when she asks for assistance. Another times they will wheel her out and leave by the elevator for longer. They also charge her for services that she doesn't get. She has another appointment about that this coming Monday. Hopefully this will be corrected. Otherwise the place is beautiful and the employees are very pleasant.

My loved one is a resident at Sunflower Springs Trinity and our experience is highly dependent on the staff at the moment. There has been a lot of staff turnover during the year. Care quality depends on the staff at any one time. At times the staff is excellent and at other times they seem uninvolved. The food in Memory Care is okay, but it is much better in the cafeteria. The activities are poor in Memory Care due to staff turnover. At times, they had staff that did an excellent job. I would give Sunflower Springs Trinity a... read more

Overall, Sunflower Springs is in very good assisted-living facility with dedicated -caring staff, good food, and regular activities that encourage community. The activities include shopping and eating out activities as well as repetitive activities and happy hours three times a week, often with music. The facility is clean as well. Check it out for your loved one.

The staff members at Sunflower Springs are very friendly. They also have plenty of different activities for the residents to participate in if they want to. There is far more so than the assisted living we moved mom to. Based on our experience with Sunflower Springs we would recommend them to other families.

This is a beautiful place, very clean with friendly staff. My friend, who is resident there, is only noticing shortage of staff. When she needs assistance and does press the assistance button, sometimes takes a long time for someone to show up. Other than that , this is a super place.

My MIL lived at Sunflower Springs for over a year before we moved her. It is a beautiful facility and a wonderful apartment. After an adjustment period of getting her medications correct, she was very happy. However, over the past several months, we feel the care has diminished, due to staffing shortages, and minimally trained and underpaid staff. We had issues with her medical management care, response time to falls and had to move her.

Sunflower Springs is a wonderful place to live. When I moved here I planned to live the rest of my life here, The food is delicious, especially the soups. Everyone is caring and helpful. Tragedy struck, and my daughter's husband passed away. I need to move closer to her so I'll be moving soon.
