My husband needed more care than we could provide @ home. I toured the facility, & was impressed with the cleanliness & positive attitude of the staff. The residents seemed happy. The admission process went quickly, & [name removed] was efficient & helpful. [name removed], the head nurse has gone out of her way to ensure the safety & care of my husband. The aides are pleasant & compassionate with the residents. My only complaints are that there is noone to answer the phone @ night to check on your loved ones, & the food is s... read more

I would highly recommend Sunflower Springs. My mother transferred from an ALF in Sun City to here at Sunflower Springs. Lucy made the move very easy and it went flawlessly. My mom was already receiving her meds that night. The food quality and cleanliness are miles above where my mom was at before. She is extremely happy we made the switch.

[name removed] was my first contact at Sunflower and he was informative, professional and excited about not only his job but Sunflower Springs. Next I met [name removed]. She is at least as awesome as Cody probably more awesome. [name removed] showed me the ins and outs of Sunflower and was a huge help getting my mother acclimated to the community. It has now been months and my mom is well adjusted to Sunflower, it has become her home, she stays busy and loves the activities and loves both activity directors. We tried two ot... read more

This was a very difficult time for my family. Just losing my dad and then losing their home to the hurricane. It was a very stressful time for my mother. [name removed], [name removed] and all of the staff made the transition easier and welcoming. The facility and her apartment is beautiful.

The place has sometimes shortage of help on the floor. My friend has wheelchair assistance and sometimes they don't respond when she asks for assistance. Another times they will wheel her out and leave by the elevator for longer. They also charge her for services that she doesn't get. She has another appointment about that this coming Monday. Hopefully this will be corrected. Otherwise the place is beautiful and the employees are very pleasant.

My loved one is a resident at Sunflower Springs Trinity and our experience is highly dependent on the staff at the moment. There has been a lot of staff turnover during the year. Care quality depends on the staff at any one time. At times the staff is excellent and at other times they seem uninvolved. The food in Memory Care is okay, but it is much better in the cafeteria. The activities are poor in Memory Care due to staff turnover. At times, they had staff that did an excellent job. I would give Sunflower Springs Trinity a... read more

Overall, Sunflower Springs is in very good assisted-living facility with dedicated -caring staff, good food, and regular activities that encourage community. The activities include shopping and eating out activities as well as repetitive activities and happy hours three times a week, often with music. The facility is clean as well. Check it out for your loved one.

This facility is newer and pleasantly appealing on the inside. Nursing staff is above average. We have experienced some issues with staff disbursing meds that was unexceptable. To add to this, the director of the facility has NEVER returned numerous phone calls when issues arise. The only way to speak with her is to be on site. This is our biggest issue to date. Also, main phone line, more often than not, is not answered for outside callers as well as residents. This is beyond frustrating for all involved. Meals at facility ... read more
