Location for this resort is great. Walking distance to the entertainment area. Staff was friendly. This resort is lacking some basic necessities such as dinner buffet. Only 2 nights is there a dinner buffet, the rest you have to wait to be seated and there can be a long wait to eat. No swim up bar and only 1 pool. Great entertainment and fun nightly shows for free. Don't be surprised by the high hotel fees and taxes upon arriving, much higher than the rest.
Highly recommend!! Very close to everything and service is WONDERFUL! Nice pool area , would stay there again!!

We booked the Sunset Royal for our last night in Mexico, after 2 weeks of Tulum & Playa del Carmen. It was our first experience of a large all inclusive resort. It was pleasant, the room was epic & the food was abundant! It wouldn’t have been for us for a longer visit because it was v noisy in the day with mostly families & loud family ‘entertainment’/dance music by the pool (however, this might be what many people are looking for).
Muy bonito y bien atendido hasta el check out Excelente atención mientras se es huésped, al dejar la habitación dejaron de asistirnos como antes, esperaba traslado al aeropuerto y no solo nos costaba además la tarifa era excesiva (el doble) al salir solicite un Taxy pero como no era uno parte de su instalación nos sentimos instigados pues buscaban sacarnos hasta el último centavo
