The staff were outstanding. Even though they meet thousands of guest they acknowledged me by my name when i approached them. They were very helpful answering questions and giving suggestions. Their tour team made sure we got to do what we wanted. I will go back for another fun fill week.
The employees were great but need more entertainment by the pool and better choice of food. I spent more time outside the hotel since it got boring the 2nd day.
Bien en general pero ojo en el check in En general muy buen, instalaciones comodas y limpias, muy buen servicio del personal. Solo al hacer check in no me querian respetar al 100 mi reservacion, yo reservé estudio con vista al mar y me querian dar habitación con vista a la laguna, finalmente me dieron un estudio con vista parcial al mar en el piso 2. Pero tuve que insistir en ello. Fuera de ese detalle todo muy bien.
The wait staff on the beach, especially Jose, was the best we have ever had and we have been to Cancun 25 times. All of the staff was wonderful which made this trip special. The beach is incredible and the rooms were remodeled nicely. Another big plus for me is that they had excellent decaffeinated coffee available at breakfast which is highly unusual anywhere in the Carribean, I usually settle for a packet of Sanka and hot water or bring my own and make it in the room. I would stay at Sunset Royal again. The front desk staff where nice and helpful. The hotel was modern , very clean and the food was good as well. I think they should have more nightly entertainments. Overall it is a friendly resort, has a great time
