Get directionsWent about a year ago. They have tiered stylists and colorists. So the more years they have in, the more they charge. However, years experience don't necessarily mean they are better at what they do. I returned for a color correction because the young kid (male) who gave me a partial weave did a terrible job. They gave me what the Senior stylist:colorist literally called "money pieces" which are nothing more than the front face frame pieces very blonde and chunky. Which leads to bad grow out, not to mention way out of sty... read more
I have been going to Graeber & Co for quite some time now for a specific stylist, Rachel. She cut my hair to perfection every time with out fail and delivered exactly what I showed and explained. Upon arriving for my appointment I had made a month prior and confirmed 2 separate times 2 days before, I was notified at the desk Rachel was no longer cutting hair at this salon. As you could assume, I was shocked and disappointed. A phone call, email, or text to her long time customers would have been much appreciated to be notifi... read more
It is really hard to get an appointment at my regular place so I thought I'd try Graeber while visiting Boise. Shampoo, cut and style took a half hour. I thought that I'm paying for a cut more than an experience, hair looked better leaving than going in, so I should be happy, maybe she is just fast. After I washed my hair I was able to tell she just did a slight trim, I think. Or did I imagine her using scissors? I still needed a haircut. Visiting this salon was a waste of $70. I'm giving two stars because she didn't ruin m... read more
I waited over a year from the last bad hair cut so I'd have a lot to work with. The stylist did exactly what I didn't want done. I wanted it thinned out and layered, (nope), I mentioned I didn't use heat or chemicals and.....they used a crap ton of chemicals and blew dried my hair for 20 +minutes. Overall, I didn't get a cut I need or that works for me. They gave me a style I can't use in my daily life. Lesson learned, even 'experts' ~don't listen~ to their customers wants/needs. For them, it was strictly a vanity cut.
My appointment was for 10/14/2022 9am. I called to say i would be about 5 mins late due to some traffic on the freeway. I do not live close by. Found parking right away in front. I paid for 2 hour meter because I thought my bridal hair may take long since i have thick curly hair. To my surprise after walking in and meeting Katelyn.i see that my hair would not be getting washed. And she went straight into curling my hair and braiding it. I showed her some really pretty up dos of bridal hair. She said okay I can do that. She ... read more
I was so disappointed that your blonde specialist left. I just haven't been able to find a replacement. The stylist that was assigned to my preexisting appointment was wonderfully kind and very sweet but just didn't come close to Olivia. I have unfortunately had to take my business elsewhere.
This place sucks! Found a good hairdresser that was a blonde specialist after countless fails in Idaho and was so excited for it and I had my second appt booked for 2 months with the same person..show up for my appt and they thought it was okay to stick me with a BARBER. lol Like are you kidding me? Was very shocked no one called me to tell me the girl doesn't work there anymore and instead put me with a barber. Definitely was speechless, how rude can you get. Wasted an hour of driving and gas. Best part was the lady who res... read more
Over-processed hair at last visit, because stylist had double-booked and got distracted. Hair was dried out and felt like straw. The attempted blonde highlights were splotchy: a mix of white and brassy. Ended up with a brown mousy mess in their attempt to cover up the white over-processed areas. Now have to wait for hair to rest before going somewhere else to fix. Horrible experience.
Stylist left before I could get there. Very rude! What kind of place does that? If their was a zero stars I would give it that.
