Responsiveness was the biggest issue. Both my brother and I were frustrated from time to time waiting on replies to our questions. Also, maybe because it was a VA loan there was more to do, but the process wasn't easy at all.

Having the loan processed on time. Better communication. We went to closing the second time it was rescheduled and had to turn back round and go home again. No one was letting us know what was going on. I understand it was the end of the year and vacations were in place, but I still wish we would have had someone to call and speak to for questions what what was happening with our loan.

As a first time home buyer, working with Tad and GSF mortgage was a nightmare! They were quick to get us going, but soon things fell apart. We got an initial closing date and then everything fell apart. It took 77 days for them to get us closed on our property! During this time the communication from Tad and his team was lacking and most of the time non-existent. They were not communicating with each other and then both asking for documents with in days/weeks of each other. Horrible experien

Very un organized.. closing cost I‚Äôm supposed to receive 3 days ahead of time got it 1.5 hours before closing and still wasn‚Äôt correct. Also closing time was at 330. Title company didn‚Äôt receive Gsf portion of paper work until after that time..

I would be called mid-day demanding I turn in documents immediately. We were not given a list of what was needed prior to the day the items were needed. This severely interfered with my job throughout this process and had to leave work early many days to deal with last minute issues. We almost backed out towards the end because of the continuous problems we incurred, not only with the home, but with the lender as well. Overall this was the absolute worst experience of my life.

I understand it is summer time and people vacation.. but we experienced Confusion on what method of communication to use. Tried calling for questions, but had to get responses thru email. Tad's Voice box full. Our closing date was loosely mentioned. I had to try calling to get an answer. Dont tell me to call if I have questions then email message me. Overall I felt like "just another customer."
