My dad has had very good care here. The staff have gradually got to know and understand him and treat him as an individual. They have always acted in his best interest and when necessary have contacted GPs, paramedics and other members of the MOT. Some initial teething problems have been addressed and carers and other staff are always available when I need to talk to them. Two staff members in particular need thanking for all they do.

Tallington Lodge took excellent care of my father-in-law who resided there very comfortably for just over 2 years, prior to his passing in January. We cannot fault the exceptional standard of care he received from all staff, and the support and guidance given to us as a family were very much appreciated. The kindness and experience of the staff are beyond measure and we could not have made a better choice in residential care. Thank you all.

Mum has been in care at Tallington Lodge for nearly 10 years, suffering from dementia. The care throughout, from carers and management has been excellent. Although the dementia got increasingly bad, Mum was always happy there, even when she was bed-bound. Management has always been ultra helpful in all circumstances.

My mother has been at Tallington for 3 years this year and has received the best care I could have wished for. The staff are empathetic to both residents and their families and my mother has always been treated with the utmost dignity and care. Moving Mum into a nursing home was heartbreaking for me as I had been caring for her - however Tallington was a godsend and showed me that Mum needed the care of professionals. Our mother with dementia has been at Tallington Lodge Care Home since 8th August 2022. She receives excellent care and kindness from all the staff, and understanding and patience when the disease brings on a difficult day. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and inviting and everyone is dedicated to creating an environment that is as close to "home" as possible when also coping with some very difficult circumstances when dealing with dementia. My relative (high dependency dementia) was in Tallington for respite care for one week - an excellent experience from start to finish. Easy to organise with a very helpful manager reassuming me that my relative would be well looked after and actually took an interest in my relative and what she liked. Easy drop off and handover, able to see the room and care home. The manager offered us lunch with my relative if we so wished. I cannot praise all the staff enough for what they are doing and have done for both of my parents. My mother is on End of Life care. The attention she gets is second to none and I know that without all the help from the staff, Mum would be suffering. It is a tough time for our family but Tallington Lodge staff make it just a little easier for us, especially as they have had it really tough themselves during this pandemic. The biggest thank you isn't enough.

This is an exceptional home for your loved ones. The staff are wonderful, so caring and kind -it’s as if they are looking after their own family. The food is so very good. It is presented as if you were in a restaurant and is delicious. The hair salon is glamorous and such a lovely place to go for a pamper.
