Our mother with dementia has been at Tallington Lodge Care Home since 8th August 2022. She receives excellent care and kindness from all the staff, and understanding and patience when the disease brings on a difficult day. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and inviting and everyone is dedicated to creating an environment that is as close to "home" as possible when also coping with some very difficult circumstances when dealing with dementia. My relative (high dependency dementia) was in Tallington for respite care for one week - an excellent experience from start to finish. Easy to organise with a very helpful manager reassuming me that my relative would be well looked after and actually took an interest in my relative and what she liked. Easy drop off and handover, able to see the room and care home. The manager offered us lunch with my relative if we so wished. I cannot praise all the staff enough for what they are doing and have done for both of my parents. My mother is on End of Life care. The attention she gets is second to none and I know that without all the help from the staff, Mum would be suffering. It is a tough time for our family but Tallington Lodge staff make it just a little easier for us, especially as they have had it really tough themselves during this pandemic. The biggest thank you isn't enough.

This is an exceptional home for your loved ones. The staff are wonderful, so caring and kind -it’s as if they are looking after their own family. The food is so very good. It is presented as if you were in a restaurant and is delicious. The hair salon is glamorous and such a lovely place to go for a pamper. Since my Mother moved here from another home, her health and well-being has improved in leaps and bounds. She is a different person from the one she was 8 months ago. My mother had a 6 weeks respite care after a hospital stay. She received excellent care and is now well and fit to go home. She was very happy with everything and if a similar situation comes up, she will choose Tallington Lodge Care Home to stay again.

Tallington Lodge Care Home is like a 5-star hotel. Beautiful decor, spotlessly clean, excellent facilities and fantastic staff who always go the extra inch. Managed superbly by the manager who knows all the residents and their relatives, personally.

My review refers to the whole period of my mother's residence, almost 18-months, and continuing. Such a nice place, the quality of the home is excellent. The staff are always attentive and helpful. From the small amount of time I have spent there seeing my nan, I am so happy that I know she is being looked after so well.
