Recently, the activity staff, another member of staff and a local lady, organised a lovely surprise for my mum. Mum was a village post office lady. So mum was able to dress up, and go around delivering the day's mail to staff and residents. Her face shone, she was so happy. She couldn't stop talking about it while we had lunch. I can't thank everyone involved enough.

Lovely care home, with fabulous staff. All staff care about residents and look after them well. All staff are approachable and listen to residents and relatives.

If you have a loved one with dementia do not trust them with their care. Cruel, uncaring, lazy and rude staff. Horrendous, please keep your family well away.

Tallington Lodge is a lovely care home. Mum and dad have been there as permanent residents since December 2020. They are happy and well looked after in what is and has been a difficult time due to the pandemic. All the staff I have met/spoken to are professional and always willing to help or advise. It is a very difficult decision to make when your parents are needing full time care but Tallington have made that decision easier for us as a family.
