I would like to retract my GOOD review about Tax Rise. They are the Worst tax resolution firm. I would not do business with them. They just take your money and do nothing. They actually made it worse.

After calling this company numerous times by phone,emails and text messages during a time span I was given to cancel with their service I received only replies back with a case number that someone would be calling me back. It never happened.

I have decided that I do not want the service of Taxrise, after reviewing many complaints. It makes me question whether they are really a legitimate company or fraudulent. I have asked for a refund and also to have my case closed. They claim that my case is now closed, but it is still showing that I owe a balance.

This is one of the letter I sent to Tax Rise asking for a refund.On March 30 2024 I paid Tax Rise ******* I received no service from them. On APRIL 23 2024 I filed a complaint against Tax Rise with the BBB to help me resolve this matter. On April 24 2024 i received ******* refund from Tax Rise. I have been lied to by a representative and talked into a $6000.00 loan, with the promise of Fresh Start program with the **** I am 70 years old and was looking to get some relief. ************* promised on the phone that I would get it but it would cost me 600dollars to get started. For the past 2 to 3 months, I've contacted TaxRise and they provided insight on helping me with my Tax Debt Relief. I was under impression they will be assisting and keeping me update on everything, but I feel I've been hit with the run-around.. 1st they ask for a starting fee to get the process going ensuring I qualify for debt relief.. 2nd then forced me to signed with ************************* Services to make a 36 months payment with no interest with IRS which I still to this day IRS has not received any payments. 3rd th... read more

SCAMMERS .... SCAMMERS ...SCAMMERS ... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ************ is nothing more than a scam, when they contact you they promise to reduce and help out with what you owe. they lock you in by charging you a retainer fee of $500.00. then weeks later they say they have a plan but now the remainder needs to be paid in the sum of an other $1700.00 or they can not proceed. and they only thing they do is set up the same plan which the *** would do for you. they do not get any amount reduced. they just scam you in to givi... read more

I was led to believe they would help me with my tax situation. They failed to mention that I had to pay a total of $500 prior to them doing any sort of work on my behalf. I had made a deposit of $125, when I realized that was not enough to get us started, I requested my money back. They have failed to communicate with me refund my money or provide any services.
