I was excited to try this place while in DC and it lived up to my expectations! The retro vibe and decor compliments the ambiance perfectly! I went for breakfast and enjoyed their spin on avocado toast! I look forward to coming back again and trying more on the menu!
I love taking friends to the Capitol Hill Ted's Bulletin. I've been taking visitors since I moved here almost 7 years ago, after being taken by a friend when I came to visit. This past time I was disappointed with the food. The hashbrowns were tasteless; they were so plain and tasted like they have just been thrown on the griddle with no butter, seasoning, even salt. The chicken and biscuits were very very dry. The mumbo sauce tasted to very very sweet barbecue sauce. I really want this to be a fluke and will definitely give... read more

Hello Samarie, this is very disappointing. Please contact us at jomidian@salisholdings dotcom to discuss this.
Overall, it was a great place to dine. Food was reasonably price and tasted delicious. Excellent service.
The restaurant was very nice and food was great. I will be returning!
Such a fun place. I felt like I was in the old days and ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup. For desert I had a vanilla milkshake. Everything was great and the atmosphere couldn't have been beat.
The food is always good, but on this visit the restaurant ran out of fish. I had to change my order twice in order to find something that was on the menu. This location is much smaller than the 14th Street location. We were also seated near the kitchen so there was so much traffic walking backing and forth by our table. My thoughts on Ted's Bulletin, get their early if you want the salmon before they run out and try not to get seated near the kitchen. The food is good! Try to the popcorn shrimp for the appetizer and you have... read more
Unfortunately this place no longer does reservations on the weekends, which was a huge disappointment. The wait can be unbelievable! But it's delicious comfort foods with a twist, at a great price. I love the brunch and that they provide you your own carafe of coffee. I keep coming back here over and over, I just come much earlier in the mornings than other places so I don't have to wait as long.
Rather you have an adult milkshake or a homemade poptarr or both you'll enjoy every sip and bite. The menu is great and the portions of this oversized comfort food are just right and more.
We had a group of six, but two reservations (one for four, and one for two). They were able to sit us all together, which illustrates TB's great customer service. They also found ginger ale for my Dad, which was awesome. The Pop Tarts are always a treat, but the squash was the star of our dinners!
