Nothing extraordinary. Entrees don't come with much and there is no bread served with the meals.
We like Ted's on 14th St. and at Eastern Market. This is the 4th time we tried this location. The first was awful service and mediocre food, but they had just opened. The next two visits were very good in terms of food quality and service. This visit the service was good -- but our eggs and hash browns were swimming in grease. Really awful, and we remembered it all day long...We won't be back. Too bad. We found La Madeleine right behind Ted's. They're more reliable.
I wrote in comment section of reservation email that we would be celebrating 2 50th bdays but nothing bday related was mentioned. We had 2 very sad 11 year olds who wanted to celebrate their moms.
