Great atmosphere.. Huge venue. Food was better than expected compared to other restaurants in the same chain.
Lovely old building sensitively decorated and original features preserved. The staff are friendly and quietly efficient, the food beautifully cooked and presented.
We ate here for the first time after the pantomime on Saturday night. We arrived early but they able to accommodate us . Very obliging. Food was excellent. I had the chicken satay and the jungle curry. It said it was hot and it was which is quite unusual in England . we will come again.
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and we were well attended to initially. The food when we finally got it was tasty although not particularly hot. We had to wait a long time for the rice to be served after the main meal had come out, which meant the initially warm food was pretty cold by the time the rice came out. The staff didn't seem to know what we had ordered and it took a lot of frustrating attempts to tell them we were waiting for rice. Lovely food but the service was slow. We asked for chop sticks but never received them and took a long time to clear our plates after eating. Also, although rectified we were charged an extra beer on the bill. Toilets, especially the floor not clean.

Delicious food nice ambience
I had dinner there last Saturday night. The food was very good. Sadly service was not up to par. For example 1) took over 10 mins to take drinks order 2 ) we order 4 drinks and 1 (a glass of wine) took over 20 mins to arrive 3) when starters arrived we had no plates. Took another 3 mins to bring plates. In short great chief but they need to improve the service.
Good service , nice looking restaurant with a nice feel to it . Food was nice but wasn't outstanding and felt it was a bit overpriced !
