We visited Thai Square in St Albans on Thursday 29th December. It is a family favourite and so was the natural choice to celebrate my daughter's 24th birthday. As always, the staff were charming and attentive and made sure that our glasses were constantly filled! The food was delicious-especially the lamb shank and the mussiman curry. Another fabulous night!
Really nice food, excellent friendly and accommodating service, good cocktail list, nice ambience with exposed beams. Was a tad more expensive than most but the quality of the food still made it good value, portions were generous too. Impressive hand carved potato flowers come with one of the duck mains.
Good food and a nice central venue
Thai Square St Albans is one of my favourites. They always seem to be able to give you a table even though they are busy. The staff are over friendly and you get the food super quick! I have the pad thai on regular basis as its my favourite but have tried the curry several times and they are divine! Recommended!
4 of us had a lovely meal in Thai Square St Albans. The cocktails were delicious and all bar one of us had really excellent meals. My boyfriend had the super hot curry which he felt wasn't well done but other than that we really enjoyed the night. A lovely setting, very good staff and a great atmosphere.
great food, nice atmosphere, good service. try the papaya salad, very nice, all the thai salads are great! great choice for vegetarians, will sure be returning!
Thai Square, St Albans. Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. All together had a good experience except for the very end. We had to wait so long for the bill, even after asking for it. After they brought it, we had to wait ages again for them to collect it so finally just put our coats on and brought the bill up to the staff ourselves. I would still recommend this place, the atmosphere and wonderful food definitely outweighs the wait at the end.
