Really enjoyed our evening at Thai Square St Albans. The restaurant itself is charming and full of character. The food is really good. The service was initially a bit slow but then again it was a busy Saturday evening. Would recommend. It's not cheap but not a rip-off either.
What a lovely meal at Thai Square - the food was of a high standard and the service was excellent.
Great place for a night out with friends or as a couple. We started with a glass of bubbly in the bar before our meal. Food was excellent and service was very attentive. Thought it was a little pricey but as it was a special occasion I didn't mind. Has a lovely courtyard if a warm night. Would definitely recommended.
Food was good, service friendly, had been a while since our last visit as we had had bad service but this time everything was OK. From talking to friends it seems you are better to be sitting downstairs as at times those upstairs are left waiting a lot longer.
Have visited this restaurant many many times and this time it was not live up to it's usual excellent standard. Starters were ok but took a while to come, once arrived we had to send a plate back as it was barely warm, it arrived back a few minutes later after having being put through the microwave we guessed. Having said that, mains were all good and the service was good and attentive as always. Would still go back as am hoping that this was just a one off.
this restaurant is not my faviourite thai in st albans but it was suggested by someone else and I had a better dinner than expected. 3 of us had starters which were devoured. perhaps thats why we didnt finish our rice, the portions were large. ice cream is nice and so was my nonalcoholic cocktail. service was ok, took a while to get attention. the price always seems high. the worst thing for my (pregnant) friends is that they would not leave a jug of tap water, so we had to constantly ask for refills.
I have returned to Thai Square several times because I know what I get is good food and great service. The food comes out fairly quickly so most food must be pre-cooked! Would recommend!
took parents for evening out , good food loved the green curry excellent service at a time that suited them early evening would recommend for a group meal of just for two
This was the first time I have eaten here although i have walked passed it many times, the food was good.
