Booked here because we fancied one of the lobster dishes that we had seen on the menu;it was our wedding anniversary so we wanted something special. But....no lobster was available so we had to select other dishes. Bit disappointing. We had a very nice prawn dish, but wasn't quite what we had hoped for.
Greeting on entry was very helpful and friendly. Bar was a little manic. As soon as we were ready, shown to table. Service good throughout and just about the right amount of attention. Reasonable portions and food well cooked but have had similar for far less. A good experience overall and good for business meetings etc and also good for large parties. I would use this restaurant again.
Dined with 4 friends & had an excellent evening. A range of cocktails, nice atmosphere in the bar and restaurant, excellent choice of good quality food. It was busy but the service was still good. Would return.
Had a good night at TS. It's a tad pricy, but you pay for what you get. Lots of nice spicy options. The Panang is particularly tasty if you like curries
An unusual mix of an old Tudor building and an authentic Thai Restaurant - it works. We were promptly greeted on arrival and shown to a table that suited a couple in a large busy restaurant. the waiters and waitresses were all very courteous an polite, service was prompt and the food was delicious and well presented. We clearly saw the priced menu prior to ordering but it was a nice surprise to get a bill of under £100 for such a lovely experience. Go try it for your selves, its great!
Thai square although being a chain is much different in st.albans. The restaurant itself is lovely inside and out with a nice dimly lit romantic feel to it. Food is amazing.
We again enjoyed eating at Thai Square. Good choice of authentic, delicious thai dishes. Spacious, attractive restaurant in lovely building with exposed beams and rafters. Friendly, attentive service. Relaxed atmosphere ideal for couples or groups of friends but also suitable for special occasions. Central St Albans location. Excellent cocktails.
Thai Square is a place I keep going back to as you get the food very quick and the quality is always good. Staff are friendly and effecient. I had the pad thai and also the red vegetarian curry wtih coconut rice. Both dishes were filling and tasty. Highly recommended!
Really enjoyed our evening at Thai Square St Albans. The restaurant itself is charming and full of character. The food is really good. The service was initially a bit slow but then again it was a busy Saturday evening. Would recommend. It's not cheap but not a rip-off either.
