I've been taking my 18 year old Chinchilla here for about two years now as his age has brought on new challenges and health issues. And in that time I have continually found myself grateful for their knowledge, experience, kindness, and availability. Anyone with an exotic pet knows the difficulty of getting them quality medical care, and having CBEAM close by has relieved that stress for me. Even when my Chinchilla was having serious and complex health problems - during Covid, no less - they worked diligently to help me care... read more

We brought our sick conure to your ER last night. She was in such bad condition that we needed to put her down. You were so sweet, patient, and loving through the whole situation. And youwere very respectful, accomodating, and understanding as we struggled through it all. You made a very difficult time into something special.

I had no idea a goldfish could be treated but took a chance and called the clinic as my black moor goldfish had a large tumor on its side that was starting to cause problems. The folks at this clinic were wonderful and explained that it certainly was treatable and it was possible to remove the tumor. I’m the type to give my pets every chance possible even though some might not think a fish is worth it …the vets and staff treated my little fish like he was just as important as someone’s pet dog or cat, they were wonderful, ... read more

Everyone at the clinic, from the person who answered the phone to the techs to the doctors, were so compassionate and kind in every interaction we had. Unfortunately, our girl didn’t make it but we felt so cared for and supported throughout the whole process which really makes a huge difference during such a heartbreaking time. Thanks to everyone here!!

Business response:

So sorry for the loss of your sweet girl, Jennifer. I hope we were able to provide comfort in a difficult time. Thank you for your kind words.

My 18 year old daughter rushed her dwarf bunny to this clinic with what she thought was a URI. It turns out that our sweet little Bun had an intestinal blockage. My daughter was by herself and completely devastated with the diagnosis. A big thank you to the office staff, vet techs and the vet for your patience and kindness during this difficult day for my daughter. I can’t even express how thankful I am, just know I think you’re all wonderful.

Business response:

Thank you, Dana. I am so glad we could be of service to your family and your pet.

I don’t have a review, but I do have a question. Why is there a lot of bloody mucus when reptiles hatch and not when birds hatch? Thanks so much

Business response:

Hello Daunya! I asked your question to our team so that you could receive an expert reply. Our lead veterinary assistant, Chad, responded: Birds do come out of the egg wet too, they dry pretty quickly after hatching. Sometimes reptiles can hatch a little early depending on incubation conditions and more of the albumin is still present in the egg, albumin is the “whites” of the egg and probably the mucus they are referring to. The reptile baby probably looks wetter because they are already shiny and do not have down feathers.... read more
