I have been a regular for over 40 years. I started in Waltham went to Stoughton when my daughter moved to Braintree. I even went to Arlington where the parking was terrible and of course you met with a failed store. Been to Andover--Burlington when they came into being and where I now frequently go but Waltham has the hustle and bustle that I enjoy the most. When we have our large family gatherings that is where we go for it is equidistant for three of the family.

Food took a while but was tasty. Pleasantly surprised to find out Kids eat free off kids menu on Tuesday. Surprised because they told us after bill came so only two of three kids ordered off kids menu which included a drink and a dessert. Now we will know. It would certainly be a place to go on Tuesday if you were bringing children to eat. Prices in general seemed a little high but not excessive. Drink refills could be quicker. Overall enjoyable and decent value.

I am at this Chateau quite often and I am always so pleased with the service and especially the food! When I walk in it's like being home and you are so warmly welcomed from the management to the working staff. It's so nice to be remembered and to be treated like family!

Was with friends who truly enjoyed the food, especially the toasted ravioli. Service was fantastic. This was the third time we have taken friends there and will continue to do so.

Was looking forward to lunch with friends at The Chateau, but was disappointed. Although our server was courteous, service was slow in the extreme. The restaurant was not busy. The food, as well, was disappointing. Have been to other Chateaus where the quality of the food was better. Lunch pasta special seemed tired and "old"--perhaps reheated from previous day--and was not served hot, as it should have been. Lukewarm. Soup that came with the lunch special was also lukewarm and mediocre-tasting. The atmosphere and decor itse... read more
