We go to the Chateau at least once a week. Patsy was our waitress this week. She was fantastic.
This is a great family or date night restaurant. I’ve been going to the Chateau for about 25 years and we always have a great experience.

This long-time Waltham Italian standby continues to create delicious food and serve it at very reasonable prices. A visit on Sunday evening last week confirmed the ongoing success of this local institution. Our party ordered the house lasagna, broiled cod, chicken piccata, and veal saltimbocca. Our family has had our pre Boston marathon dinner here the last 3 years and will keep coming back whenever our son is running the marathon.
Best place for a small party of friends , food was awesome , drinks just perfect and a fair price since you got quality products on your table. The Ground Round ex employee s team will be back to visit them again!! And we know about food!
I was in the area on a business trip and very glad I decided to revisit this restaurant that I ate at frequently as a child. The toasted ravioli is THE BEST I've ever had, and the minestrone soup and homemade bread were excellent. I highly recommend The Chateau in Waltham for delicious Italian good in a vintage setting.
On a Tuesday evening the restaurant became busy after 6 pm with large groups and families. Our waitress Patsy was WONDERFUL. The food came from the kitchen very quick but both entrees were not hot. Very disappointing, However, the food taste was good but marred by the tepid temperature. The longevity of the staff, friendliness and efficiency is everything and we will return just for the waitress.
Our waitress was beyond wonderful. The food was fantastic!
