The food is always delicious at The Chateau. We sat at the bar and I must say the bartender/server was not very attentive to our needs, removing dirty dishes, refilling water, etc. However it was a busy dinner hour and she was also responsible for making all the cocktails for the restrauant.
We were celebrating two family birthday parties. The Chateau is a family favorite and we had a great time - nestled in a side room, there was plenty of room for everyone and it was not noisy at all. Service was stellar and they even brought over two slices of cake with candles and sang to us. That made our dinner all the more special.
The. Gateau is always excellent, we’ve been going there once a week fir 40 years.
Huge restaurant! We have been looking for a sit down place to have pizza in Waltham and we were very pleased.
Always love the Waltham location. “Old School” feel—- takes me back to growing up in Waltham. Great comfort food !
A family get together was made quite enjoyable by the friendly , attentive and accommodating staff. It was more like Sunday dinner at Grandma's table. We definitely over stayed our visit. Good food, and great atmosphere, but please bring back the "other" bread. All in all we left satisfied and happy!!
Good neighborhood place with a variety of seafood and Italian entrees. Getting to be pricey for the type of restaurant that it is. But, it is convenient.
It was very nice
We enjoy meals at the Chateau. We typically bring family members for celebrations, but we've also just gone for dinner or lunch. All the food is usually consistently good, but our last visit fell short. The chicken used in the chicken parmesan was very chewy. It seemed that it had been frozen, then cooked. Not the best we've had, which was a little disappointing. Service was great, and a good time was had with family for the birthday celebration.
