What a beautiful and delicious restaurant. The food was superb, waitstaff was excellent and the ambience was wonderful.
Oh my God! If you’re tired of same old, same old cuisine, go here for a true delight. Interesting fusion of Douyh African and various European styles ends up a true masterpiece. Nothing was plain but nothing was “steam out of the ears” spicy. All just very interesting blends of tastes and textures. The rib appetizer with guava BBQ sauce was to die for. Enjoyed our lunch Ryder. Had the peppers stuffed with cheese and shrimp. It was so tasty and then we shared the steak sandwich. We thought it would require a knife to eat but it was so tender with the grilled onions and cheese that it easily melted in your mouth without any knife needed. We had lemon drop martinis and they were so good too. Glad this location is open as it’s closer to us and so good like the 290 original.
The owner/chef is from South Africa and many dishes have a South African flavor. Every dish we ordered was terrific. The owner greeted us when we came in and also came to our table later to check if we were satisfied. We will be back!
I hadn’t been to this Chef’s Table location in a few weeks. , and I’m glad I returned. The food is still very tasty, and our server, was outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Her excellent service made our dining experience even more enjoyable.
Chef’s Table is new for me so I tried it for HRW and I’ll definitely be back. Every course was wonderful, the server was professional, and my cocktails were also delicious. Minor deduction for having to wait 15 minutes past my reservation to be seated. But again, it was a Saturday night during HRW and hopefully not the norm. Give this place a try.
Amazing experience the chef make sure to greet the tables and really make them feel at home and understand where the concept comes from. Highly recommended!
Hostess was very pleasant and my server Drew did an excellent job. Food was great and came out quickly. Server was very attentive. I will recommend and return.
Jessica was incredible at tending to us. This was our favorite HRW discovery. Cannot wait to try out more from the menu.
