Food was ok, but portions smaller than advertised on some items. Steak was very salty. Server was great, drinks were good. Desert was also good. So 2/4 menu items were worth it. Glad we went, but do not plan on returning. Menu is unclear as to what is in food and no gf or allergic items available for anyone.
Anniversary
We had a wonderful dinner at The Cozy Taberna. The food presentation was spot on and all the dishes were delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try more
This was our 3rd visit and we will be back. We wanted try the Octopus that they added to the menu this week and we enjoyed it very much, hope they continue with it. Such a great addition to Salem, well done.
Great Addition to Salem. The alder planked salmon was the best salmon any of us have ever had. Cooked to perfection. Lots of vegetable choices, though they added too much salt at times. We were told we could ask for less salt next time. The service and atmosphere were excellent. Very comfortable. Definitely will return.
Excellent quality food. Staff was attentive. Drinks are creative and delicious.
This was the second time I've been here. The music was loud enough to be a bit too distracting, especially over the loud noise of patrons. Service seemed a bit off this time too, but I wouldn't hesitate to come back and try again.
The food is excellent! I love the vibe of this place. Definitely my favorite place to eat in Salem.
Great food and great service. Lots of small plates and vegetarian, meat and seafood choices. The scallops were great but a bit expensive at 19$ for 2 scallops
