Great atmosphere, great service, great food and drinks. It has the vibes of an upscale restaurant in Portland, but at the convenience of Salem.
We came back and will be there again asap! Also appreciate how Lois and Rex come around.
Don't leave without trying the fried artichokes and the squid ink pasta. Everything we had was fantastic.
Our party of 3 ordered the Radichio salad, artichoke hearts and patata brava. The Radichio Salad was ok but nothing memorable, the patata brava was slightly over cooked with inconsistent pieces. There were far many small pieces compared to the larger ones thus the small ones were dry while the larger ones were moist. The artichoke hearts were superb. Food was delicious. Love the dumplings and the bacon wrapped dates. Disappointed with the service. Seemed to always be looking for our waitress. A couple food items never showed up but they were apologetic and removed both items from our bill. Overall a must for Salem. Ambiance is great
The atmosphere is not loud it’s chatty loud and I honestly think raising the volume on the music would be a positive thing. Yes it would increase the overall volume in the restaurant but that’s what makes it such a fun vibe. We came for the first time 3 Saturday’s ago and have been back on Friday or Saturday every weekend since. You guys have a great thing going and I think The Cozy Taberna will be a long term staple in Salem. Thanks so much for the great food,service and atmosphere!
First time going and loved the extensive cocktail menu and options for small plates or bigger plates.
Food was very good priced well and staff was great as always. They didn’t have some of the items we went back for but we like that they mix it up and it gave us an opportunity to try some new things. A very welcome addition to Salem dining.
VERY Spendy, service was good and enjoyed the atmosphere.
