Alright here I go, ok so first of all I just made a Facebook account recently and haven't had time to try to fix it but I would say based off what my friends told me this place is a hot mess. A couple of things wrong with this place based off what my friends told me. - Management sucks - Security sucks - Cars were being broken into - They just want your money - They are hiding the fact that residents have COVID and are not telling anyone - Fire alarms go off I have stayed the night before at the crossings and just in one ... read more

Business response:

We're sorry that you feel this way, Jacob. However, as you mentioned that you have not lived here, I'd like you to know that we have made several improvements in regards to the items you mention. The fire alarm system was inspected and repaired earlier this year, so while there may be an occasional false alarm with a resident cooking in their unit, the frequent issues we experienced during the building's first year have been resolved. Additionally, we have recently increased security patrol to 24/7 to prevent crime such a... read more

Wish I could give NO stars. I went through the process of having someone takeover my lease and because I am leaving the state I had a lot of perfectly good household items and a brand new tv I left behind for the new tenant. I cleared this with office staff including the manager jason borges well before my move out and he assured me it was ok to leave those things behind for her. Upon her moving in she told me EVERYTHING had been thrown away because it was dirty/damaged. Everything I left was practically brand new and severa... read more

Business response:

As we communicated to you via e-mail, we typically do not advise residents to intentionally leave items in their unit after move-out. While you e-mailed us about these items the weekend you moved out, it does appear maintenance had already turned over your unit. If you wish to follow-up with a designee from our corporate office, you may contact Morgan Grigsby, our regional director, at 470.481.3470.

My son lived at residence for almost two years, he's had nothing but bad experiences with both the area and management. The area is literally on the wrong side of the train tracks, meaning it's located in a more of a industrial area verses a neighborhood. Because of it's location its prone to ongoing car vandalism. My son's car was vandalized twice within 5 months, once parked in the property's parking lot and the other was parked on the street just up the block. He's also seen multiple cars broken into as they too were park... read more

Business response:

I'm sorry to hear about your son's car break-ins, Joaquin. We do have an evening security guard that regularly patrols the property, including the parking lots, from 6PM to 6AM. Because of these measures, the crime rate at the property is lower than the surrounding area. However, crime remains an unavoidable factor in this area of Sacramento. We work with Sacramento Police to educate residents on crime prevention as best possible.

Parking lot often full and no nearby street parking; my daughter has had to park several blocks away in industrial dark unsafe area. Also many residents have dogs and don’t clean up after them, it’s really bad. Don’t recommend at all.

Business response:

Hello Jill,We value your feedback. Unfortunately the City of Sacramento has placed no parking signs on Ramona Avenue from 10:00pm-6:00am. We have provided additional parking at an auxilary lot located in close proximity to The Crossings. We take great pride in the cleanliness of our community and residents to be found not picking up after their pets are being fined. Thank you Jill.

The Crossing can improve on a lot of things... I have sent Lisa Corey an email 11 days ago on ways The Crossing could improve but still no response.

Lisa Corey is not capable and unprofessional. My daughter moved out and is owed December rent reimbursement. Lisa does not return messages and has failed to respond. Lisa is causing financial hardship because it’s nearly 2 months since my daughter left. (Against state laws) I’m trying to avoid litigation but this lady can’t get anything done. I personally would suggest other housing as Crossings of Sacramento has failed to live up to their end of the lease agreement. Very poorly run

Business response:

Patrick, Thank you for your feedback. I have reached out to Payton regarding her deposit refund. We enjoyed having her as a resident here at The Crossings. Thank you Patrick!
