Moving and they are telling me I can't leave. After a lot of fighting, I have to bring a note that says I am moving as if I am in the first grade. I have given them two years and was told when I signed up that I had to give three months. The gym is mobbed all the time and you can't get on machines. The management staff knows nothing and tells you different stories. It is none of their business where I am moving. I would give them zero stars if I could
I contact this gym in Dec with a doctors note I emailed to two people including the gym mamager. I let them know that I was unable to work out due to a broken foot. I was told twice to they would pause my membership. Jan I was once again charged and when I call they tell me they can't refund the charge. That all they can do is pause and extend it. That helps them not me. They said they would see what else they can do I have not heard a peep back from them.
In today's world, it is disheartening that the pursuit of health and wellness is not always accompanied by a sense of fairness, particularly for women. Every individual, regardless of gender, should have the right to feel safe and secure in a gym space without the burden of unjust scrutiny or additional financial strains. Every time I go there I get harassed by front desk when I am working out with a family member who is 15 years old. They constantly ask me if he is paying me to train him and that I can not train him be cause it looks as if I am a paid trainer taking away from their staff. I also realized that when other people in the gym do the same type of training they never get talked to or asked to stop. I attempted to cancel my membership and they told me my cancellation was successful, I'd have one more payment of $31.98, and would be active through the month of November. I checked my account and they charged me $49.99. I emailed them and asked why, and they said they would refund me and nothing further was due. I was then charged $31.98. I attempted to cancel my membership. Their App does not give any information to cancel. The main office does not take cancellation. They give a phone number, which then does not take cancellations. I then have to email them. Not giving a viable option to cancel your membership is unethical and deceptive. their whole model allows you to "cancel any time" do not do business with these people.
They over charge, have poor customer service unless you’re looking to enroll, lack of supervision of teens accessing the equipment unsupervised or either by other teens themselves (staff with no experience) this a building with a spa and workout equipment robbing pockets and our youth with no real supervision!
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my very recent experience I had at The Edge Fitness Club located in ****** *** I had signed up for training sessions and when my trainer Tony was fired the day I trained with him unexpectedly I called the club and spoke with Joe the manager to cancel any further training sessions.
